I have added a tiny edit to this chapter, but I just wanted to say in case anyone was confused that Anna affectionately calls Daphne “Daff or Daffy” because she couldn’t say Daphne as a little child, and it stuck. I also replaced the word ‘butty’ with sandwich... and for anyone interested butty is a local common slang word for sandwich , I just didn’t realise how local it was! A favourite here is a chip butty!
