The Escape

This chapter was hard to write. I knew what needed to happen, but I struggled to put things together. Also, it's late at night, and I'm the only one awake, and some odd noises are coming from the corridor. I know it's the cat. It's the cat, right? Must be. As a bit of an extra, I've been listening to the cover of Dark Horse, by Our Last Night. Music is a huge part of my writing process. I'm not sure I'd have ideas if I didn' t have music.
