Katrina almost bursts into laughter when she enters the bathroom. The bathtub is filled with so many bubbles that it almost spills out of the tub. Seeing the usually imposing Aaron Wilson sitting in a pink bubble bath is greatly satisfying. If he wasn’t looking at her darkly, she would’ve laughed out loud.
Despite the soft picture he makes with the bubbles sticking to his hair and floating around him, Aaron still looks dangerous.
No need to anger him, she thinks, quickly lowering her head. She covers her mouth and pretends to cough until she is able to school her features into a neutral expression.
She raises her head and says, “Turn around so I can wash your back.”
