A month ago, we found out Zab is pregnant. But because of the pain of losing a mate, Zab was in a coma. Every day, there were no changes in her health. She's still weak and dying. We were worried about the baby growing inside her.
To our relief, the baby is doing fine despite her mother's dying body. Yes, her. I'm having my first granddaughter. Damn, I'm old.
I've talked to the council regarding Zab's condition. They seemed to understand to keep everything a secret from the rest of the kingdom. But Liam and I shared the news with the pack and coven. They were happy to have a new princess but they were worried about Zab's condition as well.
I was in my office with Lucas and Colt, just finished with our talk with Amara. Liam walked in with Creon.
