Chapter 12 - Dinner

Iris POV

Unfortunately for me, time management and punctuality were not my thing. Especially since I was distressed and fell asleep without setting up an alarm to wake me up in time to get ready.

I woke up around 6:50 pm, with a groggy headache and with so little time to get ready. Again, I had to rush to not be that late. I knew I would be, but I would rather not be that late, because tomorrow I will not hear enough from Mom.

I tumbled around and managed to get a shower. I dried my hair and pulled it up in a messy ponytail. I wore a simple off-the-shoulder white top, with some dark blue skinny jeans… For make-up, I did a cat line, mascara and gloss. I didn´t have enough time to do anything else, besides, I didn´t have to impress anyone, did I?
