54. Green Eyes and Warriors

In loving memory of Lucas, Oct 10, 1940 -Aug 4, 2020. Hello everyone, I sincerely apologize for the lack of update this past week. My grandfather passed away around this time of year and I struggled to write the ceremony portion of this chapter. Unfortunately due to Covid and travel bans, I was unable to attend his funeral in Mexico. For those of you who do not know, I based Emiliano's character largely on my grandfather. He was forgiving despite the cruelty and hardships he faced ( he had a tough childhood) and unbelievably kind and generous like our dear Emi. I miss him very much. I took some time to focus on my other story to set my mind straight and it helped a great deal. I've been fighting some severe confidence issues lately on this story so it was nice to work on something else for a bit. Again, I apologize for disappearing for a few days without warning you first.
