So I woke up to my worst nightmare, a litany of comments about my book not heading in the direction everyone hoped, and people encouraging each other to abandon ship. It's disheartening as an author to face any negative comments, but it particularly hurts to hear when you know the book is about to hit its apex. All I can say is that in chapter 75 we hear some of Stavros's backstory. Athena will definitely toughen up Caly's resolve, Terri will see it and go crazy in the next few chapters. I reintroduce two older characters who are both willing to take Caly away from Stavros. I would also like to point out I never said her happy ending would be with Stav, perhaps his change of heart comes too late. All I hope is those who stick with me enjoy the last quarter of this book.
