Chapter 5- Bend The Will

"B-Baby?" Both of them said in confusion.

"Yes, my dear spouses. I'm pregnant!" I said while can't hide the smile on my face.

I'm smiling? I'm supposed to hold back myself. I still want to go home but I don't want to leave them either. Even I just met them for a short period of time. I've a deep connection that makes me bend my will.. My will to return to the real world were I truly belong.

Maybe I'll spend my time with them while I still can and if I have to leave then I'll leave but then what about my child?

I hold to my stomach where now a new life is forming.

"It's my offsprings, right. I can feel it it's mine." Ophio happily said as he touched my stomach.

"Well I still don't know since the healer said he will return tomorrow to check it and that's when I will know the gender or which kid it belong."

"No need for that! I can feel that there were four eggs here and it means they're mine."

"Well Aeron is a bird, I will lay eggs for him as well."

"The stinky bird said, a female can lay only lay one egg for his kin. And there were four inside and I felt the connection with my child so I know it's mine."

"We'll see.." I said.

"Take a good rest for now, we will leave as soonn as you recuperated from giving birth." Ophio said.

"Then can do the villagers a favor?"

"It depends on what kind of favor they're asking."

"It's just to protect the village while we are staying here, protecting the village is also protecting me. It's killing two bird with one stone."

"why do we need to kill the bird?" Aeron interjected.

He reaction is so cute, like he is quite agitated hearing the birds being killed.

"No, Aeron. It's just a phrase meaning you can accomplished two things in a single job." I explained.

"Oh, is that so?"

Weeks had passed in a blink of an eye. My mates guarded the village from outsiders in exchanged of staying here.

But one morning an unexpected happened. A female suddenly giving birth to a female. The problem is that the baby is not in the right position. In the modern world she needed a caesarian section. Though I got the tools I needed here I'm not someone who can do that kind of surgery.

I can do CS in animals like dogs or cats even though she's a female beast her body is no different from a human. A person's flesh were thicker than small animals. I have to cut layers and layers of flesh before reaching the womb. Aside from that I have to enject epidural on her spine which only licensed anesthesiologists can do. Cause one wrong move can cause fatal injury to the female beast.

I have no choice but to push the normal delivery. The female try to push as hard as she can. Minutes by minutes she's loosing her color. The baby's body was out and it's only the head remaining inside. I cut a part of her womanhood and streched it using retractor. The baby was finally out! It took hours before the sugery was done. The baby's head is stretched quite long but it will go back to it's original form after weeks or a month.

The female is now resting she's peeing using a catheter that I provide. There's also an IV fluids attached to her hands.

Good thing I brought my bag with me. All the thing I needed is here. Including my phone and a solar charger that every explorer have.

The female woke up and I handed her the baby. Then she asked me to name her child as her thanks for saving both of their lives.

I named the baby "Mary" from the song Mary had a little lamb.

Night falls and I immediately fell asleep from exhaustion.

When I opened my eyes I was... In my room?!

Wait! What the hell is happening?

I touched my stomach. The baby bump was gone.

I tried to sleep again in hopes that I'll be back to that world again, to my mates and my babies I want them to be born.

I opened my eyes again but still I'm in the same room. But why I'm sad? This is what I want, isn't it? To return to the world where I belong to. But why do I felt like I don't belong here anymore.

My heart it felt like it's being ripped apart. I went to the bathroom to bathe. I removed my clothes and I was shocked to see in front of the mirror that my spousal marks were still here. I touched each marks and the glow.

Suddenly three men appeared I couldn't see their faces as it was blurred in the mirror.

They kissed my Jaw, shoulder and neck while saying.

"Lala, wake up now!"

I opened my eyes again and saw my mates agitated beside me.

"Lala, are you alright?" Lio worriedly asked.

" I'm alright, it's I had a bad dream." I said.

"Was it really bad that you're keep groaning and breaking cold sweats." Aeron said.

"Yeah  but I'm okay now. I guessed I'm just very exhausted last night and end up having bad dreams."

"Forget about that and let's eat breakfast." Ophio kissed me and gently guided me out of the bed.

Today is the beginning of the rainy season and snake beastmen hibernate during this season. Ophio went out to hibernate while Aeron went out to look for another village.

I went out with Lio since there's no one left to protect me. For him to hunt he hid me in a cave behind a falls. He told he will be back after he hunt.

While waiting for Lio, I took my phone and scroll in the album. I took a picture of the secretly, most of them were stolen shots and some were puctures of them while sleeping.

Wind passed through me and it felt like whispers that sending chills to my spine.

I turned the torch of my phone on to light my way. I follow to were the wind came and discovered. A skeleton of a human wearing a lab coat. Above is a hole in the ceiling were the wind is coming from.

The skeleton holding something seems like a notebook. I took the note book and something metallic fall on the ground I picked it up and it was a ring.
