Walking up to an old worn out door, I look around cautiously, to see if anyone is showing particular interest in me. But the few people on the streets are all rushing their own way and couldn’t care less about the young short-haired girl, that is about to enter a motel. That’s a good sign. It means that no Dark ones were able to track me down from the restroom.
Besides the backpack, I am now also carrying a bag with new tennis shoes, some bandages and disinfectant, so I’ll be able to clean my wound. I just need to get a room first. And I truly hope I’ll be able to get it without a human ID, since I can’t use magic to help myself out.
