I stare at him for a moment, then try to wriggle myself out of his grasp. “Let go off me right now!” I demand, not wanting to feel his hands on me for a single moment longer. He sighs loud enough for me to hear.
“I’m not doing that, we barely managed to pull you two apart. And there’s a crowd watching already,” he informs me, making me fume with anger. I glance over my shoulder again, then narrow my eyes at him.
“I won’t lunge at her, just get off me!” I hiss at him, feeling panic rising inside me. I really don’t want to be near him ever again. And I’m getting angrier with every second I have to spend in his proximity.
Finally, he releases the grip on my arms wordlessly, letting me stumble forward and glare at him. But as I turn my head towards Sheila, who’s still being kept away in Marcus……
