My Caramel Apple Pie Filling: 5 peeled and sliced apples 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup butter 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla Bring to a boil on the stove of a temperature of 235 degrees while continuously stirring (you do not want to scorch the caramel) When it is to tempurature, add in the apple slices and put to the side Add to your favorite pie shell (bake if needed) and enjoy!
