I am thrilled to hear that my mate is strong enough to defeat an alpha. This makes her worthy of me. I must undo the rejection I gave her. I am grateful that she did not have a wolf to accept my rejection back then. Now, she can easily accept me. All I need to do is find her and make her my queen.

“Ray, tell me, where is my mate?” I ask him once more. This time with a warning.

“I’m not sure, but I left her at the club,” he explains. “She must still be there since I left her there.”

“Which club is that? Tell me?” I question. “I am bringing her back to make her my Luna, your queen.”

He hesitates before saying, “Don’t stress yourself. I don’t think your mate can accept you.”

“What do you mean by that?” I inquire. “Why won’t she accept me? I’m her mate. She has no other mate except me.”
