There was little time before the wedding started. Aurelia was given a room and told to wait to be called. Aurelia held her phone and sat on the couch in a daze. She did not have any friends to chat with and tease her on the wedding day, or anyone to have a heart to heart with.
A small tickling sensation rose into the base of her stomach. She was feeling sick.
Then, her phone buzzed. She slowly reached out to check. It was a text message from Alex.
"Have you reached?"
Aurelia replied, "Yes."
"I am here as well."
Aurelia thought of something and sent an inquiring reply.
"What about your family?"
Alex typed for a long time before the text came.
"They are here as well. Don't worry about them. You will see them soon."
"Okay."
Aurelia held the phone tightly in……
