Curiously, I looked around the cave and I noticed that the crystals were glowing brighter than I remembered. The last time I was there, the crystals didn't twinkle and pulsate like they were doing at that moment. Suddenly, a thin red mist began filling the room. It swirled around us, invading our nostrils. The mist turned into power as it coursed through our veins, and it felt raw and influential.
'Get out of there!' exclaimed Adam frantically inside my mind.
Immediately, I grabbed Jacob's hand, and Corey grabbed Sam's hand, and we sped out of the cave as fast as we could. We stopped running when we reached the beach in front of the cavern opening and it collapsed to the ground. We breathed in the fresh, cool air.
"Sammy?" Sam asked, concerned, as he caught his breath.
