"Brynn? Brynn?" Alissa called her name, urging her to take her bath and breaking Brynn’s thoughts; she had been lost in the clouds of her dark thoughts since they had landed.
It took everything in her not to cry and scream out her frustration at Killian and just tell him the damn truth, but it was harder than she had thought.
All the while on the trip back to the Grey Estate, she had locked herself away from him and was hesitant to even look at him without the guilt showing through as they were both in the car. She had hoped Killian wouldn’t notice that she was so apprehensive and guarded.
"Brynn!" Alissa called again, as Brynn had almost been sealed by her thoughts.
"I'm sorry, I’m just..."
"Are you alright, Brynn? You know you can tell me anything; I won’t judge; I’ll listen to you; you do……
