46. Sweet seventeen

They say age doesn't matter. They say that it's just a number. Well, maybe they are right. In human's world. But for me it's an issue. Not because of the age difference between me and Matie, but because I would really want to be of age now. I have a hard time picturing another year of not feeling the bond with her and the fact that she feels it 'differently' is messing with my head.

I know what I want, and I know I'm one lucky dog for having the Girl I dreamed about as my other half. However, I have still one year to go before the bond ignites in me. Whole f*****g year. A lot can happen during twelve long months, especially since she won't be here next year.

I tried to talk her into marking each other earlier. It's not like it never happened before, heck my own parents did……
