Chapter 22

      Volkan's pov

"They are cowards. Running away like this on hearing that the Royal army was approaching"

Jason said,while we were driving back from the central province.

I merely nodded, sighing.

"They will strike back again and the next time, Jason."

" I don't want any lapses."

He nods.

" Understood Alpha. Rest assured."

I leaned my head back on the seat. Staring outside at the raging storm.

Something didn't feel right. I don't know what it was.

But I can feel it.

"It's.... it's weird. A snow storm in this weather.... it's quite unusual."

Jason says, looking out. 

"The fall doesn't arrive till 1 month at least."

I couldn't help agreeing with his statement. The feeling of uneasiness inside me worsened.

"Unusual indeed."
