I arrived home angrier than I had been all day. I’d not only got thrown out of yet another school. Arianna’s mom had lied blatantly to my face. Even though I had lied to her to get the answers I was looking for. She had seen straight through me. I don’t blame her if Ari had even mentioned me in the slightest, I would be wary of her. But, that being said, I wanted to find her and explain to her how sorry I was. And the reason for me being such a d**k towards her even if she didn’t understand my ethics.

I close the door behind me and am hit by my mom's glare. “What did I ask of you, Adrian?”

I just stared at her blankly. Now was not the time for this s**t.

“Well? I’m waiting Adrian. What was the one thing I asked of you before you started your last year of high school?”
