The Alpha's Funeral Was My Wedding Day

The Alpha's Funeral Was My Wedding Day

Reads

Kane practiced the words. That's the part Sera can't forgive. "I reject Sera Vale as my mate." Eleven words, delivered without a pause, at the coronation where he'd sworn to name her Luna. Then his new bride produced a vial with Sera's own wax seal on it, and five hundred wolves she'd spent years stitching back together watched her dragged out by the arms. None of them spoke. They took her wolf at the door. They didn't know to take anything else. Kane had never asked why she'd stopped drinking wine that winter. The man who pulls her out of the snow in rogue territory wears a hood and asks no questions. He offers her a bargain instead: her healing gift, five years, his protection. He has an execution brand on his hand and a name the whole continent buried. Sera negotiates while she's still half frozen. He seems to appreciate that. Five years later, a herald announces the Luna of Thornmere at the gates of Blackridge. Kane hasn't tasted food in four years. His alliance is failing, his wife keeps a locked drawer he's never asked about, and the woman on the dais watching him lose his composure has two children who stay just out of sight. He'd give the whole territory to speak with her alone. She's already promised her bond to someone else.

Everyone's But Hers

Everyone's But Hers

Reads

Every night, thousands of people scream Kai Voss’s name. His face is everywhere. Billboards, magazines, sold out arenas. To the rest of the world, he is the man who has everything. To Elena, he is the boy who broke her trust. They knew each other long before the fame, the cameras, and the carefully crafted image. No matter how much the world loves him now, Elena cannot forget what happened between them. So when their lives unexpectedly cross again, she keeps her distance. Which would be much easier if Kai would stop finding reasons to be around her. He is used to getting what he wants. Used to people saying yes before he even asks. But Elena refuses to play along. She challenges him, argues with him, and sees straight through the charm that works on everyone else. The more she pushes him away, the harder he finds it to walk away. What starts as old resentment becomes something far harder to ignore. Because beneath all the anger, neither of them is as unaffected as they pretend to be. And the closer they get, the thinner that pretense wears. Kai is willing to risk everything he has built for a second chance. Elena is not sure some mistakes deserve one. But as old feelings begin to resurface and the past refuses to stay buried, they are forced to confront the truth neither of them wants to admit. He belongs to everyone else. But his heart has always belonged to her.
