Si Summer Daleson ay lumaki sa piling ng kanyang ama. Ilang buwan bago siya mag-18th birthday ay may inamin ang ama nito. Siya daw ay isang bampira at magaganap lamang ito pagtungtong niya ng ika-18 na taong gulang. Lumaki ito sa mundo ng mga tao at puno ng pangarap pero sa isang iglap ang mundo at buong pagkatao niya ay magbabago. Mapapalibutan siya ng mga estrangherong mga bampira, matutuklasan niya ang mga problema at pagkaka-iba nito, at higit sa lahat ang madilim na mundong papasukin niya na puno ng takot at pangamba. Samahan natin si Summer sa mundong nararapat para sa kanya.
