ABOUT ME
Ellanore Woods has been telling stories for as long as she can remember. As a child, she and her sister spent countless hours creating adventures together, and as soon as she learned to write, those stories found their way onto paper. Today, inspiration still arrives from unexpected places—a favorite song, a memorable conversation, a breathtaking landscape, or even a thirty-second commercial.
Born and raised in Utah, Ellanore is a wife, mother of seven, and grandmother of twelve. She has lived in both Utah and Alaska and enjoys camping, fishing, Dutch oven cooking, genealogy, sewing, knitting, crochet, and just about anything that sparks creativity. She also has a fondness for collecting elephant figurines and proudly shares her home with Simon, a three-foot-tall stuffed snowman who somehow refuses to melt.
Her fiction spans romantic suspense, mysteries, historical fiction, mythology, and time travel, but every story shares a common thread: strong people facing difficult choices with courage, grace, and hope. She is especially drawn to characters who discover that strength isn't something we're born with—it's something we choose.
Ellanore believes stories have the power to teach, heal, and encourage. She writes to quiet the stories that fill her imagination, giving them a place to live beyond her own mind.
Her stories celebrate hope, family, redemption, and faith.
