My name is Micaela, and although I work full-time, I spend every spare moment I can immersed in my greatest passion: writing stories. Whenever I write, I am transported to another world, one filled with adventure, romance, magic, and endless possibilities. Writing allows me to escape reality and create worlds that I hope will capture the hearts and imaginations of my readers just as completely as they capture mine. My writing tends to lean towards historical fiction and fantasy, with a particular love for magic, mythical creatures, and, of course, romance. I am an absolute sucker for a love story where nothing comes easily, where love is tested, hearts are broken, sacrifices must be made, and the characters must fight for their happily ever after. I love writing descriptive, immersive stories because I want my readers to experience every moment alongside my characters. I want them to feel the ache of a broken heart, the thrill of a new adventure, the warmth of a stolen glance, and the magic of discovering a world beyond their own. Whether I am putting pen to paper or, more often, fingers to keyboard, my goal is always to make my stories feel alive. For me, a story is about so much more than the events that unfold. It is about the characters themselves: their struggles, their flaws, their fears, and the obstacles they must overcome to become the people they are meant to be. I love watching my characters grow, stumble, make mistakes, and discover their own strength along the way.
