In the beginning, there was the Universe, the Singularity as you humans call it. What you don't know is that it had a consciousness. But loneliness is true for all sentient beings. It was energy, surrounded by chaos and nothingness. So it gave whatever sentience it could to the chaos and the nothingness, and with whatever was left, it split itself into three. One to balance the nothingness, and two balanced each other. Only the chaos was not balanced, for none but the Singularity could match it. The process repeated itself when one of the deities created lesser beings, who gave them names. They dubbed the chaos Lord Time, the merciless judge. They called the nothingness Lord Darkness and the being that balanced it out Lady Light, The Great Guide. As for the being that created them, they called Lord Life, The Inventor and the being that balanced it, Lady Death, The Collector. Then came the War.
