*Blurb* Emily’s POV: A small whimper escapes my mouth as I stand in front of the mirror and look at the gash in my side. I had forgotten just what it felt like to not be able to heal quickly. I reach into the cabinet to see if there are any supplies to be able to bandage myself up. Of course, there isn't. Being a werewolf Alpha's bathroom and all that. A creaking noise comes from behind me and I throw my shirt down to cover up my wounds. I turn to see Hunter and Justin both standing in the doorway, looking at me with concern. “What happened?” Justin growls and they start walking towards me. I clear my throat. “N-nothing.” I lied. I suddenly start to feel extremely nervous. “That doesn’t look like nothing.” Hunter says, lifting up my shirt to expose my side. His voice sounds stern and angry. Justin vamps away. WIthin a second, he comes back with bandages and other supplies that I would need to dress up the wound. I let out a heavy sigh and lift up my shirt. The two of them curse under their breaths as Hunter grabs a cotton ball from the pile of supplies. He soaks it in the rubbing alcohol and moves towards your skin. “This might sting.” He says just before applying the cotton ball on the bottom of the gash. As soon as the cotton makes contact with my skin, I whimper and latch myself onto Justin’s arm. Hunter finishes cleaning me up, and carefully puts a bandage over the wound. He looks up at me and I can see the fire in his eyes. He gets closer to my face. I can feel the warmth of his body and the anger radiating from him. “If anyone ever touches you again, I swear…” He growls. Justin stands up straight behind him. “They will regret ever even looking at you.” —--------------------------------------------------- Emily Harmon has defeated two of the most powering beings that have ever been in the supernatural world, all to protect her mates. “You bitch!” Vickey slaps me across the face. Hunter and Justin both jump from the lunch table, but stop when I look at them with my hands out. “Why can’t you leave any of them for the rest of us!” She screams in my face. Every inch of my body is telling me to just throw her across the room. “How could you?” Melissa is crying behind Vickey. “I thought we were sisters!” “You are the worst sister anyone could have ever asked for! Not like I asked for you anyways.” Vickey says with a snoody tone. “To think, you would do something like this on our birthday.” “Enough!” I shout, standing from my seat. “I haven’t the slightest clue what you are even talking about.” “Like you don’t know.” Melissa pushes Vickey aside and gets in my face. “No! I just said that I don't have a clue what is happening.” I look her in the eyes and say. “You just had to have two mates, didn’t you. Both of which are the guys I’ve been trying to get with since before you ever were even a thought in this pack's mind. So, why don’t you just go back to where you came from.” Vickey looks me in the eyes with a straight face. “I never wanted another sister. I was just trying to act happy for father.” Melissa adds with a sob. I roll my eyes and sit back down. “Hey! We are talking to you!” Vickey shouts and grabs hold of my arm, yanking me out of my chair. I plant my feet on the ground and look her in the eyes. “Back off, Vickey.” I growl. She raises one eyebrow at me and bobs her head. “Make me.” I can feel the power growing in my fist as I shut my eyes and force myself to walk away. ---------------------------------------------- Emily Harmon is forced to choose between her two mates, all while trying to fit into her father's pack. Girl Power-Rebirth if the heroine writing contest. “No, don’t!” I shouted with all my might but it was too late. Jacob lets go of the arrow that he has drawn back. I take a deep breath as the arrow strikes the chains above me, breaking them and releasing me into the air. The wolfsbane below me won’t kill me but it will hurt quite a bit. “Ahh!” Is all I can say as Destiny nails me in the side, sending me flying away from the plants below. Thank goodness Abigail's wolf is the fastest in the pack. My foot still hit part of a plant and it sends shoot pain through my body. I crawl over towards Destiny who is laying on the ground a few feet from me. “What are you doing here?” I whisper to her. She c***s her head to the side and whines a little. “Oh my goodness, Anna!” Jacob yells running to us, getting both of our attention. Then we see a streak of color coming towards him. “Watch out!” I yelled back trying to warn him of Svetlana but I was too late. She came speeding past him like he was nothing and sent him spinning in the air. He crashed hard on the ground and stayed down for a minute. “Ah, so your entourage has arrived. Where is this daughter of yours.” Svetlana hissed as he put her hand on her chin, looking at me with a side eye. “ I thought she would be one of the first people through the door to try and save her mother.” “She’s nowhere near here. She is safe in the city.” I spit back at her. Destiny growls beside me and stands on her feet as if she’s ready to fight. “Ah so I see you didn’t know she was here. How interesting. Tell me, did you really think I took you for you?” Svetlana asks as she begins to pace with her arms behind her back. I raise an eyebrow at her. “I see. You’re not my prize, alpha. Your daughter is. I’m sure you know what she is and the powers she will possess as soon as she gets her wolf. And if rumors are correct, that should be today.” “You’ll never find her.” Jacob growls as he stands up. Svetlana looks at him and like a flash, stands right in front of him looking him in the eye. He takes a step back but does not look as though he is intimidated in the slightest. The biggest smirk grew across her face as her chest rose. “You brought her to me. You brought me my prize. Ha. I should thank you. My years of searching are over.” She begins to walk away from Jacob and he lets out a breath. “Don’t think for a minute that I’ll give her mercy because she is only a child. Her blood and her power are what I’m after. She will join me and my army will be completed.” She is talking about her council of supernatural beings, one of each species in one place as an army.
