In the city of Y, humans die without a particular reason. There are no signs of illnesses nor signs of struggling before their lives are taken away. Meanwhile, there said to be a faceless man that looks rather like a black shadow that lurks at night. The thing has no human body and feeds itself upon human souls—people are convinced this is what’s killing the citizens. High school detective X, as they call her, doesn’t believe in such being. She’s determined to investigate the curious cases and prove to people there’s no such thing as a soul eater. As she does, the culprit reveals itself through poetry, and later X finds herself trapped in a murderer’s poetry. Tune in, for this is her journal. And mysteries are yet to be unveiled.
