Cassie has been content with staying out of sight from other supernatural beings and has never felt she belongs with them since she's a werewolf hybrid. Her past has been filled with pain, bad choices and rejection, so in her mind, it's better not to get attached to anything that might hurt you in the end. That includes the mate she finds when he walks into the bar she works at, but with her scent covered he doesn't know who she is. Figuring she could at least have one night of fun without him knowing who she is. What she didn't foresee that would only cause more problems when she learned that he's looking for a thief, and now he might figure everything out. Will she ever be able to let her mate in?
