At early age, Devi realizes how cruel the world is to her because she was abused and abandoned by her parents. Hated and blamed for killing her brother.
Growing up with hate to herself made her selfless, and have no reason to survive, not until she met a fellow friend whose also abandoned in the random street. She began to strived, to survive together with her friend, even if its to eat rotten foods on the trash or even rob moneys to passerbys.
But everything changes after someone saw them stealing money, cops thought her friend have a gun. She witness how her friend died in front of her, which made her hate the police. She was only 10 years old at that time.
Alive but dead inside, that is who Devi is. No reason to be alive and no purpose to survive, because everyone made her miserable. However, after meeting the old man name Giovanni in the street, Devi's life changes tremendously.
