All Sayonara De Vera, who preferred to be called Sai, ever wanted was an interview with Paul. Nothing else. If not for her opinionated and uncaring manager, she would not be traveling to the remote mountain town of San Rafael. She has never been there, and she has never traveled alone that far. If not for Jeremy, her secret crush who promised to spend the weekend together with her, she would not dare go alone.
She was an illustrator for children’s books, not a writer, but her job was at stake if she refused to join the writing contest. She was never a fan of mythical creatures and human love stories. Thanks to her grandmother for scaring her all the time. She grew up believing that vampires suck blood, monsters lurk in the dark, werewolves rip bodies, and other creatures kill their prey. She could not see any love story when everything was about killing.
When she met Paul, there was one thing Jeremy failed to tell her. Paul was strikingly gorgeous but very mysterious. Meeting Paul, Sayonara realized the danger her grandmother was telling her all the time. This time, Sai was pretty sure, it was her heart, which was in great and grave danger.
