Her Mystic Scent

She had an extremely sweet fragrance on her body which I have never encountered before. She smelled neither werewolf nor human. It was a scent that throbbed my frozen heart!

As she piqued my curiosity, I turned back to look at her. She looked divine from behind as she was walking nonchalantly.

‘Who is she?’ I wondered

I was staring intensely at her. Who is she? Why does she smell so uncommon? The scent reminded me of my grandma... She had a unique fragrance on her body too!

It's a myth that werewolves can sense a particularly sweet smell on someone's body if they are their loved ones. But I don't even know this lady, why did I sense such a rare scent?

She piqued my curiosity badly as my eyes were already fixated on her. She was walking with a nonchalant motion along the footpath. Her hands were moving continuously towards her face. She was probably crying, and could only wipe her tears.

From behind she too looked so lonely! Unknowingly I started following her from behind as my mind was extremely inquisitive.

Suddenly she stopped walking. I feared that she had sensed someone tailing her and so I quickly stepped back a little. But she didn't turn behind and turned towards her left heading to the main street.
It was around 8 pm and the streets were the busiest during this hour has thousands of vehicles were running wild on the road.

I was a little perplexed by her gesture. Why did she turn towards the road? What is she up to?

I saw her side face, especially her eyes, they looked so mournful. Tears were rolling down her cheeks and she was biting her lips to stop herself from breaking down. Her facial expression was too intense as if she was lost in some deep thought.

I don't know why but I couldn't read her mind! As the alpha werewolf, I have some supernatural abilities, one of which is to read minds. And humans are usually easier since they tend to be much more vulnerable. But then again I still haven't adapted to reading a werewolf's mind completely yet.

I failed in her case! Why? Isn't she a human? But she doesn't seem to be a werewolf either! I tried again but failed drastically.

Next moment I saw a huge car driving towards our direction on the street. Suddenly I gazed at her and I was startled.

She was staring at the car with her dense and intensified eyes and from her body gesture, it appeared to me that she was about to jump before it!

‘Damn it! She is trying to commit suicide!’
